From Tafarn-y-Garreg directly on to ridge, then along to Fan Hir, Fan Brycheiniog, Fan Foel, Picws Du and Waun Lefrith before walking back underneath the ridge.welshyboyo14/07/2020
With trimarc2. Started out in the gorgeous sunshine - weather deteriorated but not our festive spirits! Fan Hir, Fan Brycheiniog, Picws Du, Waun Lafrith, Garreg Las. Finished with a late lunch in front of the fire at Tafarn-y-Garreg. Exceptional.Fionalevey19/12/2019

With E. Parked on minor road to E (Bwlch Cerrig Dion) and followed small intermittent path past ruins to Llyn y Fan Fawr. Good picnic/drink stop. Then up path to Fan Brycheiniog - Trig Point where drifting clouds limited visibility along ridge. Continued onto Fan Brycheiniog - Twr y Fan Foel and then historic county summit of Carmarthenshire at Fan Foel. Returned by same route bagging Fan Brycheiniog South - East Top on way back. Great walk just a shame the drifting clouds on the day restricted our views.Beeliner13/07/2019
Walked from car park on A4069. Out and back loosely following the Beacons Way to summit Garreg Lwyd, Foel Fraith, Garreg Las, Waun Lefrith, Bannau Sir Gaer, Fan Foel, Fan Brycheiniog, Fan Hir. High temperatures, clear skies and terrific views made for a very enjoyable day out.muzza205/07/2019
