A day walking from Rhossili with Alma Aurea. The tides were low in the morning so we went out to Worms Head first, visiting the two summits Inner and Outer. Some fun scrambling over the rocks and in places but nothing too hard and stunning scenic. Then in the afternoon we walked up Rhossili Down to the summit and then back via Hillend. Another beautiful hill with views over the Worms Head. /D | meltdiceburg | 26/10/2023 |

Parked in the church car park at SS 4170 8807 where contributions are welcomed (box by entrance) - Down Coast Path for about 150m, through gate & then forked right up good path to the summit rock by trig point. Good views, especially that of Worm's Head. (S) | gerrybowes | 23/10/2021 |

8.2 mile walk from road east of Llangennith. Up minor road to Upper Hardingsdown farm then easy track up to summit of Harding's Down. Then we followed well signposted footpath west then south along slopes of Rhossili Down ascending easily up to summit. Then we followed the scenic ridge north but at Bessie's Meadow took a good footpath into Llangennith. From here we ascended Llanmadoc Hill on track and up to summit following ridge to cairned sub-summit east descending back to car. Afterwards drove to and bagged Ryer's Down and Cefn Bryn. Sunny/breezy conditions with good views across the Gower but a bit too hazy to see much further. | DanTrig | 04/09/2021 |

On Llangenidd- Rhossili Down- Worms Head- Port Eynon walk. All superb- views, coastal scenery, geology. Notable are cliffs where the angle of dip of the limestone is 45 deg, so they are like pyramids with the waves crashing below. Sunny, clear and cool. About 6.5 h walk and an hour of happy meandering on the shore while waiting for a pre-booked (reasonably priced) taxi back. | pwheeler | 30/04/2016 |

Walk up from Rhossili to look at the cairns and Sweyne's Howse burial chambers. The Beacon itself is actually a large Bronze Age cairn with remains of a kerb of large blocks. There are loads of great cairns up on the Down. | thesweetcheat | 20/03/2012 |
