Quick ascent from minor road corner below west. Only very limited parking here as there are piles of gravel stopping people parking in this area. From road corner there is a marilyn/trigbaggers trail up fairly steeply from the ferns to ridge and along to summit. 2nd Marilyn of 5 today. Earlier we bagged Mynydd Y Glyn and later we bagged Garth Hill, Craig Yr Allt and Wentwood. Grey/murky weather limiting views. 81m ascentDanTrig05/09/2021

2nd of 6. After getting hopelessly confused by Pontypridd road network finally found the minor road to the west of summit. Parked at footpath marker close to field gate for quick up/down. Blowy and rain but summit clear enough for a view.N.Morters25/08/2020
Parked at cattle grid, close to start of mast road. Mast first, then trig. Shorter track diagonally down to start of mast road. Sunny and spectacular views of the valleys.iangalbraith17/08/2020

Down from Mynydd Meio summit via the western slope, then north along the lane through Eglwysilin village to the end of the tarmac, then north west across moorland and a just-about-traversable bog and up the final grassy slope to the summit. Then north to the secondary high point around the communications buildings.Mariana Trench12/05/2019
