Nice, short stroll from parking area.took left hand track. Trig surrounded by felled trees.good views. With stig_nest.Laura.W20/03/2016
From close by mast car park. Silly these hill ticking excercises we do. I dont have the inclination to walk miles of forestry plantation to visit a trig half buried in forestry harvest cast offs.. standing as it does in a desolate clear felled patch. We walked in from 100m away. Not very satisfying but then, you take the rough with the smooth. The view is substantial. Even on a dull morning like today. Just a shame the forestry commision couldnt make a little more of it. Hard to justify the petrol spent on it. Walked with Laura.W.stig_nest20/03/2016
In cloud and drizzle, so still no view! Trig half buried.tim74705/02/2016

Last of 7 today. Trig point lurking in the dusk.jenx19/11/2015
With Jenx, 7/7 today at dusk. Park within 300m or so, up track. Trees felled to south in recent years give good view of the Bristol channel and server bridges. Trig somewhat buried in brash piles, partially liberated but needs a man with a saw to clear!nordicstar19/11/2015

Parked opposite village shop in Parc Seymour and took a pleasant walk through the woodland before reaching the scene of forestry works devastation at the top. Route and write-up at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/wentwood.htmlGayle24/03/2015
With Tiger Bay Ramblers. A 13 mile round trip with Gray Hill and Mynydd Alltir Fach.islamidget01/03/2015
A short walk from the road to the trig pillar, which is half buried under forestry clearance debris. The woodland trust are doing a lot of work here and it should be much improved in years to come, but at the moment it's a mess. Views of the Seven Bridge and south currently enjoyable.mindlessflogger07/02/2015

A short easy walk up from the road. A few patches of snow still lingering from the big fall 10 days ago. Lots of litter about. Trig was easy to find as the trees were still bare. Just about got a view through the trees towards the coast.isabelle01/04/2013
