From Bakestall. Took the north ridge via Pt. 831m to the summit. With DB, RP and BC. Onwards to Little Man.Man of Kernow104/07/2018
Descended Little Man & headed straight up Skiddaw, along the scree covered ridge to the summit. A suitably atmospheric & rugged top for the highest of the Northern range. We then carefully picked our way down the very steep & loose path towards Carl Side. Watched a group of older walkers pass in the opposite direction, nipping up like mountain goats!AmyYoung23/05/2018
Took my daughter (6) to bag her first proper mountain (done a few Cheviot hills all under 2,000ft). Blue sky sunny day but cold biting wind that got stronger the higher we went. Started about 11:00. Followed tourist route from Latrigg car park after witnessing someone damage their audi by reversing into a hole. Reached summit about 14:30 - nice and slow with lots of stops for little legs. Bagged Skiddaw Little Man on the way back down to give my daughter her first two Wainwrights. Got back down about 18:30.NorthernWayfarer13/05/2018
