parked at the end of Jenkins Path and completed a solo run up to Lonsdale Fell, Little Man and then onto Skiddaw. Tops were covered in hard snow. Ran straight back down along the tourist track. Beautiful morning.Jim Baz19/11/2019
8/12 Lonscale Fell from Skiddaw tourist path, then out to Lonscale Fell East Top, back to collect Jenkin Hill, Skiddaw Lesser Man, Skiddaw Little Man, Skiddaw South Top, Skiddaw Middle Top, Skiddaw Summit, Skiddaw North Top, Broad End, then down over the fence to East to pick up good track down to Hare Crag, down to Skiddaw House and back up Fence Line to Burnt Horse Hill, and popped back over the Lonscale Fell col to use tourist path back down to Keswick. A smashing round, with less re-assent than I had imagined, good paths throughout 5 hours.nickywood127/10/2019

Continuing on from Little Man, continued on up Skiddaw with cloud rolling over the ridge connecting the two peaks. Many false summit cairns, the trig point is the official top with shelter. Very exposed. Views of Scotland, northern England, most of northern lakes were just stunning. Had to wait for clearings in cloud to photo the views. Parked at Dodd Wood cp (£6.30 all day parking) and headed north through the woods to ascend via Ullock Pike taking in Watches on the way. Descended via Carl Side taking the footpath west at White Stone back into the woods and the car park. Summit was cloud covered and cool with a slight breeze.
