We set off from the highest YHA in the country, Skiddaw House (470m) where we had enjoyed an excellent night’s accommodation, & what a treat to wake up in such spectacular surroundings. Quickly gaining height over Sale How through thousands of long legged bugs flying around, it felt like we reached the top of Little Man in no time at all. Absolutely fantastic view in the early morning haze & heat, & we lingered a while to savour the moment.AmyYoung23/05/2018
After taking my daughter(6) up Skiddaw, I took her up Little Man on the way back down. Blue skies and sunshine but cold biting wind. Got back down at 18:30.NorthernWayfarer13/05/2018
