With Izzy and Margo. From Mungrisdale Common. We veered a bit further south than intended and ended up reaching the summit directly from the west, rather than coming along Foule Crag. No views whatsoever. Onto Blencathra.James McKnight04/11/2023

With Izzy and Margo. Walked up from our accommodation at Lowside Farm near Scales. Initially steep but it levelled off and Scales Tarn was reached in relative comfort. The wind of the morning had died down so we decided to attempt Sharp Edge and made it with flying colours! Margo's chest harness proved invaluable to drag her up a few tougher sections. Nice views from the top. Onto Blencathra.James McKnight26/03/2023

11 of the Blencathra group summits from Mungrisdale Village Hall, with Jim, Jus & Cat. Thick clag with gusty showers - bog all visibility. A particularly brutal squall attacked us as we climbed this one - soaked to the pants!wheresthepath26/09/2021
