Leaving Latrigg we continued onto the Cumbria Way, taking the right-handed fork in the path rather than heading up the Jenkins Hill route to Skiddaw. A pleasant gentle ascent until we reached a fence line on the left which marked our way steeply up to the summit of Lonscale Fell. Quite a few pit stops on the way but we made it! An equally steep downhill section led us to the Burnt Horse path & then our destination for the evening, YHA Skiddaw House.AmyYoung22/05/2018
