Superb moonlit walk through fresh powder snow at 4.30am. Really clear in all directions; westwards towards the coast and a very white Skiddaw looming up to the southeast. Definitely quite an experience to last long in the memory.Alex C02/03/2024
Not quite as early as Alex C but a wonderful walk up in fresh snow on a bright sunny morning. Good views in all directions, although a little summit cloud on the highest tops. Several young families out with their sledges. Like others parked in the layby near Binsey Cottage to the ESE. Solo.richard6902/03/2024

A late afternoon tour of the Uldale Hills. Binsey followed by Latrigg from Binsey Lodge. Then off by car to the nearest points to collect Mickle Rigg, Aughertree Fell, and the TV mast at Sandale Hill. Still a very windy day - I could hardly stand up on the summit of Binsey.silverwolf_alan21/08/2023
