| WOs 52,53,54,55 and 56. Still based at Gosforth but decided to do the WOs around Cockermouth. A lovely day for the outliers but cloud low over the high fells with showers. Followed W's route up Watch Hill and Setmurthy Common but down the forest track for a pick up. Then on to Clints Crag and straight up and back. Finally drove to Roman Fort and very steep climb over Caermote Hill and on to the North Top. Fort remains disappointing but superb views over the fells north of Skiddaw. | BURGESS | 30/07/2017 |
