Circuit around Pike o'Blisco, Great Knott, Cold Pike, Cold Pike W Top, Cold Pike Far W Top, Little Stand, Crinkle Crags S Top, Crinkle Crags Long Top, Shelter Crags, Shelter Crags N Top and White Stones just off the Band. Esk Pike, Bowfell and Crinkle Crags from Cockley Beck Bridge. First ascent of Esk Pike from the upper Duddon Valley for me and the desolate but romantic head of Eskdale - splendid scenery. Afternoon ascent from NT campsite in Langdale of Shelter Crags North Top (775m) via the band. On to Shelter Crags (815m) as the weather became overcast, then Crinkle Crags - Long Top (859m), and Crinkle Crags South Top (834m) with nasty scramble as descended through cloud towards final peak of the outing, Great Knott (696m).
