From Gatesgarth via High Crag unbelievable weather (in a good sense) - down to base layer at summit with 360 degree views of all summits not a cloud in sight.garyhoney31/12/2019
Walking leader for 16th Harrogate Scouts Mountaineering Weekend. High Crag, High Stile & Red Pike ridge East to West above Buttermere to minimise effect of strong Easterly wind. This was good practice of steep ground work with the descent off of Red Pike. I supervised my own group and remotely supervised 2 others so had briefed leaders in advance of the steep ascent.higlett23/11/2019
