From Stonethwaite. 15.5 km, 900 m asc. Along the true left bank of Stonethwaite Beck to cross Langstrath Beck at Johnny House. Up by the usual wall-gully-terrace route to Eagle Crag and continuing along the ridge to Sergeant's Crag. N and pathless NE up to High Raise (HWS). On to Codale Head and Sergeant Man summits and back S to Low White Stones. Down to Greenup Edge and Lining Crag and back by Greenup Gill. From Stonethwaite, up the Wainwight route through the crags to Eagle Crag summit. Then on to Sergeant's Crag, High Raise, Low White Stones, Ullscarf, High Saddle and Low Saddle.
