10.5 mile linear walk starting in Langdale, climbing steeply up Mark Gate path around Loft Crag and scrambled onto Pike of Stickle, went back along and ascended Loft Crag, back down and across to Harrison Stickle, then around to Pavey Ark wainwright, then across to Thunacar Knott, then contoured around to Sergeant Man Wainwright then easy ascent to High Raise, descended and took path onto Calf Crag then along smaller path to Steel Fell finishing up at Steel End car park. Glorious day, sun with thin layer of cloud way above most summits so no direct sunlight, busy as usual, great views.DanTrig23/06/2018

As we had come to High Raise we may as well go over Sergeants man to get back to Thunacar Knott… Uninteresting walk really but that may be because what we had already done that morning. Nice rocky summit and sat chilling looking at Grasmere and stickle tarn before making our way back to the Langdale pike.Scotty 2 Hotty19/06/2018
