From Stonethwaite. 15.5 km, 900 m asc. Along the true left bank of Stonethwaite Beck to cross Langstrath Beck at Johnny House. Up by the usual wall-gully-terrace route to Eagle Crag and continuing along the ridge to Sergeant's Crag. N and pathless NE up to High Raise (HWS). On to Codale Head and Sergeant Man summits and back S to Low White Stones. Down to Greenup Edge and Lining Crag and back by Greenup Gill.
