10.5 mile linear walk starting in Langdale, climbing steeply up Mark Gate path around Loft Crag and scrambled onto Pike of Stickle, went back along and ascended Loft Crag, back down and across to Harrison Stickle, then around to Pavey Ark wainwright, then across to Thunacar Knott, then contoured around to Sergeant Man Wainwright then easy ascent to High Raise, descended and took path onto Calf Crag then along smaller path to Steel Fell finishing up at Steel End car park. Glorious day, sun with thin layer of cloud way above most summits so no direct sunlight, busy as usual, great views.DanTrig23/06/2018

After going back to Thunacar Knott and getting our pictures we headed to POS. This was a summit I wanted to be on for about 18months. So Iconic. On the way we stopped and I had my first “food” for 2 days…a cuppa soup looking at the distinctive peak. After our rest we made our way to the nobblely summit. The closer we got the more we realised we were in for another great little scramble…question was could Bec take another hand on rock moment?? Turns out was very easy and the views just opened up. Absolutely magic looking towards Windermere. From here we could see the next target. So off we went. Love POSScotty 2 Hotty19/06/2018
