13/16 A long circular round of the Central Fells from Ashness Bridge taking in another 6 Wainwrights on my 3rd round, and also many Birketts / Synges. Visited: High Seat, Bleaberry Fell SE Top, Bleaberry Fell, High Tove, Armboth Fell (W + B), Middle Crag, Shivery Knott, Watendlath Fell, Standing Crag, Ullscarf, High Saddle, Low Saddle, Great Crag and Grange Fell (Brund Fell + King’s How). Long route starting from layby parking above Brandelhow Park. Skelgill Bank, Catbells, though didn't visit summit (v crowded & social distancing!), Maiden Moor, High Spy N top, High Spy, descent to Seatoller then climb to Bessyboot, Rosthwaite Fell, Dovenest Top (both tops), descent to Langstrath, then direct ascent to Low Saddle, traverse to Bell Crags, crossed by end of Blea Tarn to climb Great Crag, then Knotts, then Grange Fell and Kings How. Descent to Borrowdale and crossed S End of Derwentwater, taking path close to shore and back too start point. Some bright and exceptionally clear conditions for much of route.RobertP29/09/2020

Parked at Stonethwaite on a scorching hot day: Eagle Crag, Sergeants Crag, High Raise, Low White Stones,Greenup Edge, Ullscarf, High Saddle, Low Saddle, Lord's Howe, Green Combe and Great Crag. Easy and direct grass path down from High Saddle. Great views in 3 directions. Contoured round and down to base of Standing Crag using sheep tracks to avoid boggy bits.
