From Seatoller, walk to Stockley Bridge, followed path to Styhead before branching off to bag three Seathwaite Fell tops before descending and taking path to Esk Hause then over Allen Crags, all tops to Glaramara. Weather awful, wind rain mist. Everything sodden. Aborted the remainder of my route by descending back towards Stockley Bridge. The rest can wait until another time.Longwojo19/02/2023

On Day 1 of Langdale OMM 2022 with Darren on Short Score. Summit tagged navigating awkwardly through the rocky ribs on a bearing in the damp thick cloud out and back to the 50 point checkpoint on an island in a small tarn which had to be waded to! Our feet and legs were soaked anyway from earlier driving rain and bogs and river crossings so it made no difference, although I pity the marshal who had to set up and later collect the control. Passed one of D's friends who had given up looking for the wretched thing in the gloom.Chris Pearson29/10/2022

Good Friday circuit of Borrowdale Fells from Seathwaite, though had to park courteously over a half-mile before due to so many other visitors, even at 09:30! Styhead Path onto Seathwaite Fell (Wainwright) via Aaron Crags. Then on to Seathwaite Fell - Great Slack and South Top. From Sprinkling Tarn up on to Great End via Esk Hause, then on to Esk Pike. Next on to Allen Crags, then the long walk over High House Tarn Top, Red Beck Top and Looking Steads to reach Glaramara. Finally, descended via Thornythwaite Fell and walked back round via Seatoller. Magnificent hike and sunny throughout - Great End was the only one of the five Wainwrights I'd previously climbed.mavero1019/04/2019
