From Seatoller, walk to Stockley Bridge, followed path to Styhead before branching off to bag three Seathwaite Fell tops before descending and taking path to Esk Hause then over Allen Crags, all tops to Glaramara. Weather awful, wind rain mist. Everything sodden. Aborted the remainder of my route by descending back towards Stockley Bridge. The rest can wait until another time.Longwojo19/02/2023

Picking off my final Southern WainwrightsDinoF31/05/2021
Set off about 4:30am we stopped at Lancaster and Penrith Greggs but both were shut so Maccies breakfast it was which on the mountain sucked all water out of my body. From Seathwaite farm (parked next to bald youtuber) we crossed Stockley bridge and headed on the path to Styhead tarn turning right before getting there and going up wainwright route B directly to the summit. Used my Sawyer filter for the first time on the ascent. Game changer! Summit had amazing views and met a guy who was on his 2nd round and his dog crunchie. From the summit we made our way to the true summit of great slack with amazing views down to Wasdale head inn. We had a rest at sprinkling tarn as my ankle was hurting from twist on the Monday before head up ruddy gill to Esk Hause.Scotty 2 Hotty24/04/2021

Felt a long way out. Didn’t return to main path but instead dropped off the side which although steep and tough going was far quicker and less depressing than bogtrotting. With GFEFionalevey30/07/2020
