Climbed with Pete (after we had separated). Early start (06.30am leaving home). Parked in Stonethwaite. Walked up the beck (Greenup Gill) to get parallel to Sergeants Crag and crossed the beck. Reached Sergeants Crag and then headed north to Eagle Crag. Ground conditions was snow and thick ice therefore instead of going down nose of Eagle Crag we retraced our route to the original river crossing and followed Greenup Gill back to the car.River-Girl21/01/2023

Another two peaks for my 3rd Round Wainwrights: Sergeant's Crag and Eagle Crag for today. Rain and gale force winds made this a challenging walk. Soaked again! 11km with 900m ascent in 4 hours. (S)silveracorn_alan26/10/2021

Following the break on Eagle we moved on. This was a very straight forward walk across and only took about 10/15mins. Again at the top we were greeted by phenomenal views to the higher fells of Bowfell, Great end etc over the mesmerising Langstrath Valley. We chilled, ate another sandwich and then cracked on knowing not only was the next one my 200th but that this was going to be a very boggy slog.Scotty 2 Hotty03/08/2020
