Following the break on Eagle we moved on. This was a very straight forward walk across and only took about 10/15mins. Again at the top we were greeted by phenomenal views to the higher fells of Bowfell, Great end etc over the mesmerising Langstrath Valley. We chilled, ate another sandwich and then cracked on knowing not only was the next one my 200th but that this was going to be a very boggy slog.Scotty 2 Hotty03/08/2020

Overnight expedition from Stonethwaite where the Mrs dropped me off. Took in Eagle Crag and Sergeant Crag crossing some very swollen water courses. Then across to High Raise (for lunch). North up to Ullscarf returning to Coledale Head prior to dropping down to Tarn Crag. Camped at Easdale Tarn, walked down into Grasmere (via a nice inversion on the way down) where I caught the bus to bak to Ambleside.Butty23/08/2019

Decent day so nipped out and grabbed these two, Eagle Crag and Sergeants Crag. Did the classic face climb up Eagle Crag, exposed and path frozen so made the exposed traverse paths interesting. Great view of Fleetwith Pike through the gap, looked precipitous. Not many Wainwrights left now. Maybe try and push to finish them this year.Mark T03/01/2019
