Following the break on Eagle we moved on. This was a very straight forward walk across and only took about 10/15mins. Again at the top we were greeted by phenomenal views to the higher fells of Bowfell, Great end etc over the mesmerising Langstrath Valley. We chilled, ate another sandwich and then cracked on knowing not only was the next one my 200th but that this was going to be a very boggy slog.Scotty 2 Hotty03/08/2020

Decent day so nipped out and grabbed these two, Eagle Crag and Sergeants Crag. Did the classic face climb up Eagle Crag, exposed and path frozen so made the exposed traverse paths interesting. Great view of Fleetwith Pike through the gap, looked precipitous. Not many Wainwrights left now. Maybe try and push to finish them this year.Mark T03/01/2019

After a wet day I gambled on moving fast to get over Eagle Crag & Sergeant Crag before dark (estimated at 7.30pm)despite setting off at 4.50pm. A worn path showed the popularity of Wainwrights Route A -no real scrambling up grassy ledges and steps abruptly to summit cairn. 50 mins from Stonethwaite. Hurried on to Sergeant Crag over soggy grass in strong SW wind. Descended too soon alongside wall by Bull Crag - rough bouldery ground and craggy = slow progress. Legs too pumped to run track back to car at dusk. Longthwaite YHChris Pearson08/10/1986
