| From Braithwaite - followed Coledale Beck to edge of access land - slow along a faint path but worth the struggle then uphill to summit of Outerside (568) the zagged towards Causy pike taking theridge over the summit of Scar Crags (672) then Sail (773) then Crag Hill and trig (839) before the final push to Grasmoor (852) down via Wandhope Moss - Coldale Hause past Force Crag Mine (NT) then along the base of Kinn back to Braithwaite in the still warm fading evening light. | briandavies | 28/05/2023 |

| The Classic Grisedale Pike and Eel Crags ridges, all of them visiting 11 Wainwrights, along with 4 minor peaks. Parked in Braithwaite, then up Grisedale Pike via Kinn, and along the ridge visiting Hobcarton Crag, Hopegill Head, Gasgale Crags, and both Whiteside summits. Back to Hopegill Head and over Sand Hill and down to Coledale Hause. Then up Grasmoor, and back along the ridge to Wandope, and up to the impressive Eel Crag. Then down the Causey Pike ridge via Sail and Scar Crags, before cutting across to Outerside.
