Along with Tarn crag and Silvere How. A fairly unobvious summit with views over to Hellvelyn/ Fairfield area. Cloudy day but clear.Joel45103/09/2021
Ascent from Goody Bridge Farm, well marked path that is a popular route to Silverhow. At OS grid ref NY32510734, took path on map towards Lang How. Old path, don't believe is used much anymore because was very inconsistent and some marshy areas. From Lang How followed popular, well-marked path to Blea Rigg summit via Swinescar Pike and Castle How before descent on to Easedale Tarn and back to Grasmere.forsterfamily717/08/2021

A wonderful walk along the interesting ridge between Grasmere and Great Langdale, locating the many Synges between Red Bank and Blea Rigg from High Close (NY 336 052), just space for a couple of cars – if you are early! Summits visited included Silver How, Lang How, Swinescar Pike, Little Castle How, Great Castle How, Castle How (Raw Pike), Blea Rigg and Whitegill Crag. A splendid day with snow patches and classic views of the major Lakeland peaks clad in snow! 15.6km with 800m ascent in 5h30m. (S)silveracorn_alan07/12/2020
