Mellbreak and Hen Coombe from Maggie's Bridge car-park. Horrible scree track up White Crag onto Mellbreak south summit. Back tracked to the saddle dropping down into Mosedale. Saw the Mosedale Holly Tree. Followed the track south to just beyond Thrang Crags where I turned to climb Hen Comb. The weather deteriorated at this point have walked for the past 1.5 hours in hail and snow I decided to bail [missing out Gavel, Blake & Burnbank Fells] returning to the north. Returned to the car via the track through High Nook Farm.Butty14/01/2018

Circuit from Maggie's Bridge with Jim, Jus & Cat. Walked up from Floutern Cop, dismounted by heading southwards on a path that eventually let us dodge a hound race and then leap dramatically across a swollen Mosedale Beck. Summit is unexciting but has nice views.wheresthepath23/09/2017

Round from Maggie's Bridge over Hen Comb, Floutern Cop, Banna Fell, Gavel Pike, High Nook, Blake Fell, Carling Knott and Burnbank Fell returning by Holme Wood. Windy and overcast but beat the rain!SS02/05/2015
Done with Hilary Chuter. Glorious day. Foot problems for Hilary meant finishing with this peak instead of MelBreak so we had to descend and navigate relatively dry bogs to pick up Footpath on the north-west side of the hill. Could have been a problem in the wet.Aimless Rambler22/04/2015
