My fourth Wainwright round of Pike O'Blisco and Lingmoor Fell from the ODG. More challenging and interesting were diversions en route to Wrynose Fell (Long Crag), Blake Rigg, Kettle Crag, Side Pike, and Oakhowe Crag along the way. Quite rough and often pathless ground. So only 16 km with 1100m ascent, but it still took me 8 hours to complete. A lovely sunny morning with stunning views of Bowfell et al, but a chill with low cloud and scattered showers came in during the afternoon. | silverwolf_alan | 05/11/2023 |

From the car park at Tilberthwaite via Slater Bridge. Gorgeous day - few hail storms and even one snow flurry but otherwise unexpected sunshine and apart from a surprisingly busy Blea Tarn, no one out in the hills. Solo although GFE did similar route the other way round so bumped in to each other. | Fionalevey | 13/03/2021 |
From Blea Tarn car park. Lockdown has significantly reduced the number of people and cars around. Saw no-one on the walk. A beautiful late afternoon. Warm sun still and serene. The ridge to Side pike is pretty rough. | Karmakarl | 02/03/2021 |
