NE to Low Place and up the Brat's Hill Stone Circles and Boat How. Over Burnmoor Tarn outflow to join the path to Illgill Head and Whin Rigg. 
Over Irton Fell and rough going to Great Bank (30 mins to do the 150 m distance to the top and back) 
Back s by Miterdale Forest. Goldcrest flock. Peacock, Comma and Red Admiral.

Quite how this is an outlying fell when it is flanked by huge fells which all qualified for the main guides, but hey ho - cracking walk from beck foot taking the path to burn moor tarn from boot and then up to Boat How and continuing across the fell to the stone circles and on to Bleatarn Hill. decent paths throughout albeit pretty boggy.
