From free car park at High Row; Old Coach Road to White Pike, Clough Head, Calfhow Pike, Little Dodd, Great Dodd, Watson’s Dodd, Stybarrow Dodd, Raise, White Side, Green Side, Hart Side and Birkett Fell. A few other walkers up here, an oddly euphoric feeling to this one given that it's just another dull grassy bump. Top notch views though. | wheresthepath | 23/06/2018 |

I set out from High Row at 6am in gorgeous sunshine. The midges were out though! After a navigational cockup I climbed High Brow from the South, which was a great viewpoint. The summits were clear of the valley inversion that was gradually rising. It was easy enough getting to Great Dodd. I visited all the high points before heading to a misty Calfhow Pike and a foggy Clough Head marked by the trig point. From the summit I headed East down grassy slopes to the Old Coach Road and the car. I saw nobody else on the hill. I saw plenty of Skylarks and Meadow Pipits along with a pair of Magpies and a vocal Dipper. A Vole was seen near Clough Heads summit shooting into his hole. Time 2 hours 40 for 9 miles. | isabelle | 30/05/2018 |
From Watsons it was straight up to Great dodd. With the wind and the heavy bags this was very hard work got to the summit and again the views were amazing! We decided not to go on to Clough head as it was 2 far in that wind with the bags so hid in the wind shelter to come up with a plan and decided to go back onto Stybarrow eat and start thinking about finding a spot to sleep. On the way down there was a fell running race | Scotty 2 Hotty | 27/05/2018 |
