Before we went to Hart side we used the jetboil to have dinner using out bags to help block the wind. Unfortunately a big rock did fall on Becs head in the process. I went for a wee but because of the wind ended up covering me the bags and got Bec who popped her head over the wall to have her first golden shower hahaha. From the wind shelter we skirted across green side to make our way up Hart side. Glad to get Hart side done, always looked an awkward one. from there we again went round the side of green side and back down into the valley were we quickly found a nice secluded spot to camp for our first wild camp. Bec was asleep for 7:30 and I wasn’t long after. To wake up in the mountains was very special. Packed up and had breakfast overlooking Glenridding and the valley watching 2 foxes going on their morning hunts, before heading down. Just before reaching the car we watched a herd of cows attack a woman who bailed onto a wall screaming. Shouldn’t of laughed but Holy cow lol. Great Scotty 2 Hotty27/05/2018
