From Hartsop, up to Thornthwaite Crag from pasture beck. Nice walk through the boulder field to the col and then a very steep ascent to the top, which I didn't enjoy very much! Slight detour to Gray Crag before getting to Thornthwaite Crag. From there to High Street, Rampsgill Head, Kidsty Pike, High Raise and the across to The Knott before descending to Hayeswater and a track back to the car park.re142124/05/2019

Conquered the Kentmere horseshoe Yoke, Ill Bell, Frostwick and Thornthwaite crag were fantastic. Grey crag was a bit dower. Then the clouds dropped and the the views disappeared. Walk to Mardale I'll Bell was interesting Then we back traced down the Nan Beld Pass and back down to Kentmere 15 miles and our longest walk to date.Tobo196920/08/2016
