Started out from Side Farm campsite in Patterdale, following the path around Ullswater, skirting Silver Crag then carried on round. Took the wrong path somewhere around Cat Crag/Nettlesack and ended up on a steep ascent to rejoin the proper path, up onto the moor and towards Place Fell summit. The way down looking towards Brotherwater was amazing!Haych04/05/2019

Second round of Wainwrights. Parked at Garth Heads Farm (NY 425 187). Walked with Lindsey diagonally up the flank of the fell under High Dodd. After Low Moss the clag came down - poor visibility by the summit. Returned by same route, got to car as dusk fell. Got cloudier as the day progressed; light breeze.Skip219/01/2019
