From Wet Sleddale Reservoir. 
12 km, 350m asc. 
W and N to Sleddale Hall (Uncle Monty's) then pathless and boggy across Willy Winder Hill to the Birkett summits Glede Howe, Seat Robert and High Wether Howe. Back by the Sleddale bridleway.

From the car park at Sleddale Reservoir. Path along the to the stile, cross the beck and head for Sleddale Hall. Follow the zig zag path to the gate in the wall. Go through and on to the open fell side up to another wall, go over that and pick up a path, continue so far before branching off and head for Seat Robert. Now descend over to Glede Howe. then to Grid 521127 Outcrop, looking over to Swindale. Back over to Rowantree Crag, Langhowe Pike ( Synge ). and Langhowe Pike at Grid 528134. As Per Wainwright Route, although you now have to park half a mile further up the road. Lovely and peaceful did not see a soul all day.
