From Wet Sleddale Reservoir. 12 km, 350m asc. W and N to Sleddale Hall (Uncle Monty's) then pathless and boggy across Willy Winder Hill to the Birkett summits Glede Howe, Seat Robert and High Wether Howe. Back by the Sleddale bridleway. From res CP. ROW to gate SW of SR. Up boggy track and turn L just before gate where another boggy track goes to within 30m of HWH top. Onto SR mostly along a boggy track. Path then boggy track directly to White Crag and ROW back to the car.chrisbien27/11/2022

Wet Sleddale cp, track past Sleddale Hall and up to Scam Matthew, High Wether How and atv tracks to Seat Robert. Down north-east to Slate Hill and road. Very dry underfoot and hot .Flatfield14/08/2022
From the car park at Sleddale Reservoir. Path along the to the stile, cross the beck and head for Sleddale Hall. Follow the zig zag path to the gate in the wall. Go through and on to the open fell side up to another wall, go over that and pick up a path, continue so far before branching off and head for Seat Robert. Now descend over to Glede Howe. then to Grid 521127 Outcrop, looking over to Swindale. Back over to Rowantree Crag, Langhowe Pike ( Synge ). and Langhowe Pike at Grid 528134. Now return by Great Ladstones. Continue on to you pick up the path back to the wall then the path down to the start.smocks and denims07/06/2022

(Revisit) From Swindale, up beside Gowther Crag and across to use track to Scam Matthew, then curve round to cross beck and directly up Tongue Rigg, back via Seat Robert to pick up Rowantree Crag and Langhowe Pike (Synge) before contouring down to the valley farm. As Per Wainwright Route, although you now have to park half a mile further up the road. Lovely and peaceful did not see a soul all day. From Tailbert followed footpath into Swindale via Trussgap Brow. On to Swindale Head and Dodd Bottom. Ascent of Nabs Moor and on to Howes. Descent in Mosedale, crossing Mosedale Beck and climb of Ulthwaite Rigg. On to High Wether Howe, Fewling Stones, Seat Robert, Great Ladstones and Langhowe Pike. From verge parking at SW of Rosgill Common. FP across Swindale Beck at Swindale Foot farm, then a circuit of the Wainwright and Synge tops of Langhowe Pike, Rowantree Crag, Great Ladstones, Seat Robert, Scam Matthew, High Wether Howe, Fewling Stones and Glede Howe, returning by the stepping stones at Truss Gap. From Keld Dub - Blue / breezy and hot - lane then track to Seat Robert (with its Ring Trig) - High Wether Howe - we follow fence down into Mosedale for a paddle through Mosedale Beck - over Howes (673 high point) past pillar and on to Branstree and Artlegill Pike (with its Ring Trig). Back via Selside Pike - Selside End droping down the Corpse Road to Swindale head - lane to Truss Gap - Low Katedale climb to Dog Hill then lane back top Keld in the diminishing light.briandavies20/04/2019

WOs105-109; Bs 91,92 and 93. An excellent sunny day out based on W's Seat Robert walk. Dropped off at Truss Gap and up excellent path to top of the fell. Straight ahead to add Glede Howe, then moderate terrain over Fewling Stones and High Wether Howe to Seat Robert. Track on map but very boggy to Great Ladstones and Langhowe Pike and east along the corpse road to end of lane.BURGESS15/08/2017
