Started from the church at the foot of Hallin Fell and followed the road for a bit. Started the ascent just after the bridge over Howgrain Beck. This was a pretty pleasant ascent with numerous false summits on the way, the view behind you improving with each summit. Terrain was pretty straightforward, no scrambling involved. Gorgeous views of Ullswater at the summit. You can see the Ullswater jutting out at either side of Hallin Fell, got some beautiful photos, lovely sunny day.lifeathighaltitude17/06/2021
