Parked at the Mortal Man inn at Troutbeck and headed for nanny lane following this track to the summit. Boggy in places bit easy to follow. Headed over to Wansfell summit and descended back to nanny lane. Solo hikeZoe Little06/11/2019
Ascent from Ambleside past Stock Ghyll Force waterfalls then straight up hillside. Not very high but relentless ascent - hard work for a heavy chap! Ascent a little over an hour, descent by same route similar. Cloud on surrounding tops but great view of Ambleside and Windermere. Rain coming in from the North.CPowles19/10/2019
