From Eas Urchaidh cp. Up track to bridge, continued to gate at forest edge. Up path on east side of burn to high shoulder, then left/west to summit, good views. Back same way. Loads of butterfly's on very hot sunny day, including mountain ringlet.Flatfield12/06/2023
Walked this from the Glencoe Ski Club lodge in Bridge of Orchy Followed the forest tracks to the high point of the tracks at NN237356 and made my way over rough ground to the summit after crossing a deer fence, there was a locked gate following towards the summit which allowed for an easier climb. Due to the forecast, I made my way down following the normal route into Glen Orchy, where I managed to thumb a lift back to the Bridge of Orchy hotelgary198120/05/2023
More interesting path through forest than expected, stunning day and views. On descent several motorbikers were on hillside tearing up the ground. Continued across to Beinn DonachainNick Canute26/02/2023
From the Eas Urchaidh CP, followed a good marked path to open hillside. Possible to MTB to the hillside gate.Jhimmy28/08/2022

Beinn Mhic-Mhonaidh (C), Beinn DOnachain (G). Full winter Hike, lots of snow, 70+ mph winds. white out. 19.2km, 7hr 15minHuwel07/12/2021
Overnight in Tyndrum. Early start from Eas Urchaidh car park. Walk up through forest with a few downs (ups for return), 2nd river crossings were real. Up the spur from the sheilings. Caught up by young woman, chatted thought we might see each other on the summit. Summit misty - woman disappeared. Returned by outward route no sign of her, but saw again at car park so all well. Corbett countdown now into double figures - 99 to go.langskill13/11/2021
Solo Cycle up Glen Strae to bridge near foot of An Sgriodan. Very steep on foot up beside deer fence, suprising good animal track onto main ridge of An Sgriodan and onto top. Beutiful day with fine views of Ben Lui. Descent via same route.John Lee05/11/2021
Climbed with Richard after staying at Bridge of Orchy Ski Lodge on DMC weekend. Generally good weather although some rain and mist at top.amcculloch24/10/2021

Parked at Eas Urchaidh and followed the forest road then when I left the forest then went NW to ridge then along to the top. Missed the East top so will need to return.Fellhugger21/11/2019
Good parking at bridge by Eas Urchaidh, an excellent path through the trees to Airig Chailleach and an easy grassy ascent from there.alda29/10/2019

Wild weather forecast for the afternoon and it delivered. Summited by the Forest tracks then open hillside from Glenorchy and returned in thevteeth ifbthevwinds by the same route. With NP.kenmorti02/03/2019
A good third of the day in dry brightness. Horizontal sleet around summit. Fine walking on good forest for first and last hours of the day. Straightforward grassy ascent from forest edge to top. No views today, sadly. With K and Tess.niallp02/03/2019
from new starting pint 1.3 miles north of old footbridge. Forestry tracks and then path to forest edge. Deepish snow around but two people had obviously been up the previous day so broke the trail and showed me the way. Never very steep so straightforward. Pity the cloud came down just before i got to the summit ridge.dickscroop01/02/2019
Up and down from Eas Urchaidh as described in the SMC guidebook.davidpettit8431/12/2018
From Eas Urchaidh CP. Hot day, but the main problem was large numbers of clegs - never experienced so many before - oh the bites!!!. Good track through forest (signed at start & near 'stream' in forest where there is a footbridge - I missed this sign so had to ford 'stream'). There is an open hill access gate where track ends at forest edge. Nice ascent to E of summit - initially on a path, then grass. Good summit views.ger27/06/2018

A surprisingly nice walk from Glen Orchy through the forest, with the majority on old mossy paths with good views. The rain was good enough to stop as I left the forest. Steep slog to the ridge, and a very pleasant stroll on mossy ground and soft snow to the top. Light snow and mist, but enough clearing to get a view to Loch Awe and the nearest Corbetts. Down the other side of the coire, on a surprisingly good path towards the bottom.Gill16/04/2017
Bag and drive from Meall a Fudhair. Long walk in up Glen Strae gave a 35Km day. Doubt many use the 20K route up valley - hardish traverse through ravines/stream crossing to foot of hill which is a slog.davechaffey10/03/2017

With friend Tom. Fantastic w rather for March. Very hot! Killer of a hill! Chose the Glen Strae approach, the scenic route. Lovely long Glen. Took a w tong turning onto the forest track which led onto open hillside. Not too ha tad a. Detour but cost us a bout an extra 40 mins or so. Still a good day though. Amazing views all round and fascinating cloudsmunromurph14/03/2016
Carried on to Beinn Donachain. Stags roaring.duchally17/10/2015
With Bob and George through the forest and up the soggy slopes to the summit. No snow.Play2End23/12/2014
Followed forest trail from B8074, then circuit over summit from forest edgerjf3522/04/2014
The route up as regulated by the Forestry Commission. Return route from E top broke the rules and obviously led to Sitka bashing.Martin R11/03/2014
