A pleasant morning round from Hawkshead taking in Hawkshead Moor, Tarn Intake, Beck Side Intake and Brock Crag, before heading down to the Grizedale cafe for lunch with the family, several of whom joined me on a return to Hawkshead via Carron Crag.summitter16/10/2022
Bus to Hawkshead walk up road and then followed forest road from Moor Top, over Grizedale Moor to top which is well served by paths from N and S. I have been to the forest twice since storm of last November and although a huge amount of devastation remains, the forest staff have done and amazing job to get most of it opentrimarc224/08/2022

The day after Cyril left us and replaced by Big Mac we headed to Grizedale visitor centre to complete a forest walk. absolutely loved this walk through the woods, lots of different fairy type mushrooms about and well as some wood art. the summit had a mini scramble and phenomenal view especially over to the Coniston Fells. After getting down we took Mac on the windermere ferry and over to Gilpin Bridge for a lovely booze free pork sunday dinner. such a good day!Scotty 2 Hotty04/10/2020
