first one of the year but this was more about the cold water dip...Headed to the Lakes about 9ish, stopped at greggs for sausage roll and a steak bake. Got in trouble for eating both ends of a yum yum on the way to Devoke water. Got to the top of Seat How and had great views while having a hot chocolate and Mead. After went down to the water and Bec got in and had a dip while i made another Hot chocolate and drank xmas Mead. on way home stopped at Gilpin Bridge inn for dinnerScotty 2 Hotty07/01/2024

Walked from the Eskdale to Ulpha Road using Wainwright's Outlying Fells on my own. Fine with a gentle breeze. My final fell on The Circuit of Devoke Water. The way up this fell takes a bit of finding but I enjoyed looking as there were some beautiful flowers in amongst the crags. A lovely way to end the walk.flockwatcher25/08/2015
