NUTTALL 181. AFYER 4 WEEKS IN THE LAKES WE MOVED CAMP TO SEDBERGH TO DO THE HOWGILL FELLS. ON THE 7TH DAY OF A BAKING HOT SPELL WE WENT UP PAST CAUTLEY SPOUT AND UP ENDLESS STEEP GRASS TO YARDALE, FOLLOWED BY THE SAME TO RANDYGILL TOP, THEN DOWN TO THE BECK. COULDN'T FACE THE ROUTE SUGGESTED BY THE NUTTALLS WITH ITS UPS AND DOWNS SO FOLLOWED THE BRIDLEWAY ONTO THE CALF AND THEN WENT OUT AND BACK TO FELL HEAD AND BUSH HOWE, DESCENDING VIA BRAM RIGG TOP AND CALDERS THEN DOWN THE SPECTACULAR WATERFALL PATH TO THE ROAD. SUPERB VIEWS. 7 NEW NUTTALLS.BURGESS26/05/2012
