Solo from layby next to county boundary sign. Low clouds, frosty. tantalising views of blue sky above but not more distant views. Monument.Nick Canute12/01/2024
On the way back to Tyndrum after climbing Beinn Fhionnlaidh. Parked in large layby at 314474, but this gave a rougher and longer route than necessary. The best parking would have been where the ATV track to the mast reaches the road at 310467, where there is room for a car or two. I took this route down and walked back along the road - 2.1 miles, 190m ascent, 1 hour. The hill itself is definitely high reward (in terms of both status and view) for low effort.Mark Jackson22/07/2023

Quick stop while travelling south from Isle of Lewis. Easy hill and very good viewpoint. Room for 2 cars by start of track. With Fionatrimarc227/01/2022
With trimarc2 on the drive south. Beautiful rainbow from the top. Good hill!Fionalevey27/01/2022
Just room to park at the end of the ATV track to the mast. Decent enough track despite rain, then path up the hill, continuing dry and easy even through horrid looking tussocks, then fading in and out higher up the hill. Easy going and nice views, a good short walk.Gill20/11/2021
From ESE, revisit en route to Meall BeagRHW16/09/2021
With Lesley and Mike. From small car park (space for 2 cars) close to local authority boundary, south-westwards over rough ground and long grass to just above communications mast. Clear footpath for first part of ascent of Meall Mòr, then less-marked paths in same direction over shorter grass to cairn, summit, and monument. Sunny and warm. Attractive views over Rannoch Moor and to higher hills in almost every direction. From monument roughly east-south-eastwards down north-eastern side of hill nearly to Lochan na h-Achlaise, then back to A82.mainnirnamfiadh02/08/2021

Solo. From a car parking area near the SE end of Lochan na h-Achlaise. Walked up the broad east ridge of Meall Mòr to reach the summit. Went down the east ridge, crossed the main A82 road and went up to the summit ridge of Glas Bheinn reaching the ridge a little SW of the summit. Went along the summit ridge to the summit and descended more directly back to the car. The weather was warm and sunny.pwbellarby11/05/2008

With Shaky from the high point on the A82. After Glas Bheinn, a quick jaunt to the summit on a dreich day, although there was a view of sorts. Shaky was keen to extend the walk so we wandered over to Meall Beag & back in the hope that the weather might improve. It didn't. It rained harder.NotReallyABagger17/09/2006
