With Val. From Dufton. Pennine Way then walls prevent getting to open access at NW end of ridge so dropped to Rundale Beck where public footpath takes you into open access land and a good path goes up to the ridge and on to the summit. | mike.hoult | 06/08/2022 |

Change of plan with Tony as it was not a good day for heading up high. Dufton Pike turned out to be a really very enjoyable alternative instead. | Alex C | 15/11/2021 |
With Sal from Dufton, via Pennine Way. Followed ridge to W, but uncrossable walls meant we had to drop down to pick up path to N. Clear, but grey. | davechaffey | 12/11/2021 |
5mile walk from Appleby Station to the top. Great hill. Up via suggested path on SE side. Then onto Brownber Hill picking up Keisley Bank on way back to station | trimarc2 | 31/08/2021 |
From Dufton, onto Blackstone Edge and to High Cup Nick. Aborted Meldon Hill | Longwojo | 22/08/2021 |
Parked near community toilets, which has ample parking, then followed bridleway that leads to old lead mines. Path to top starts at obvious gate and then stiff climb to top.Rewarded with panoramic views in all directions. A super wee hill. Descended down to Pennine Way and back to Village.Wonderful way to spend an hour and a half. | catriona | 16/08/2021 |
stunning spot | richardrosser | 12/08/2021 |
A fine hill indeed and one that I had seen in passing quite a few years previously when completing a long walk but didn't have the energy left to goo up. Today, parked in Dufton, and approached from the south-east which was easy enough over a stile. Came down towards NE which was more contrived, ensuring we stayed on permissive routes. Ended up on Pennine Way with a pleasant route through fields and farms back to Dufton. | Father Ted | 12/08/2021 |

Start at the car park at the Southeast end of the village, follow the route for the pennine way and take a track off it to the top of Dufton Pike. | smocks and denims | 24/12/2020 |
good walk round from Dufton using the old mine track up Rundale. Turned off this near top and skirted along edge to make direct approach on Backstones trig and top. Then direct back to track, down a little way, and across old mining area to Rosgill edge. Steep down and up onto Brownber Hill. Another steep down and then up onto Dufton Pike. A fine Marilyn! Nice winter sunshine except on Backstones. With B and R. | jenx | 25/11/2020 |

With family. From CP in village, ascent on good opaths via lane by church via Pusgill. Descent to NNW and return via Hurning Lane (the descent route if staying on paths goes through a few fields of cattle and is extreme muddy (cattle slurry!) in places. | benalder284 | 19/10/2019 |

With Jo, circular walk from Dufton: out along Hurning Lane and ascending via the north west ridge, then descending via south east ridge and returning past Pusgill House. Weather; sunny intervals, good visibility north but otherwise moderate. | amblerbob | 23/05/2019 |
From Dufton via Pennine Way | solitaryfellwanderer | 09/03/2019 |
Solo. From car park in Dufton along bridle way up Pus Gill, through gate to access land and up SE ridge to summit. Back same way. Fresh snow covered the hill. I had previously claimed that I climbed Dufton Pike in 1942 and that this was my first Marilyn. I withdrew this claim in 2017 as I felt that there was insufficient evidence that the summit had been reached. | pwbellarby | 09/03/2019 |
