With Val. From Dent. Road walk to near Barth Bridge then Dales High Way to ridge. Followed a path on the north side of a wall to the summit. A bit wet in places. Returned same route. Good weather.mike.hoult10/09/2019
Up and back from viewpoint car park NW. Soggy going in parts. Path alongside ridge wall better than the sort-of path by the wall on the way up.squeegs28/07/2019

On LDWA Group walk, along the Dentdale route and up to the summit and along the ridge. Nice hill well worth walking the whole ridge.nickywood128/04/2019
A fine walk from the car park to the NW with friends we were spending the week with. Not the most interesting hill I must admit. Good paths and step type stiles all the way up.Father Ted18/04/2019

From the large, pot-holed car park (SD 6945 9124). Easy 4k walk up, following the wall, on a good track.jonglew14/02/2019
5 mile walk out-and-back from near viewpoint NW, took footpath south then followed wall by the forest (the trail here being pretty non-existent) until it joined the ridge wall, followed the path on the north side of the ridge wall to summit. Great views for a hill of its size surrounded by mountains, lovely day, not a cloud in the sky with nice breeze made walking very easy.DanTrig01/07/2018
Walked from Dent station. Direct route across Access land looked very rough, so I walked down the road to Cowgill then up the track to near the forest then followed the ridge all the way to the top and returned the same way.IanHHill28/04/2018

Aye Gill Pike and Helms Knott. Parked in layby at Barth Bridge - up minor road to Lunds, then obvious route to AGP. On return detoured to Helms Knott - rough terrain then very steeply down south side to Mire House - about a mile back down road. 8 miles - circa 4 hours.Crib Goch27/08/2016
From 694880 turn off to Hining Hill farm. Up the road (really access only as limited parking) continued up the track between walls at Lunds. Then up the side of the wall to ridge (tree on horizon demarks where it meets the ridge line wall. Follow on north side as there are styles through the walls (not so on the south). Easy slope (a little boggy in places) to the summit trig. Good views to Whernside/Great Coum and Howgills on a sunny evening.N.Morters13/07/2016
With parents from Sedbergh during a long weekend visit. Ascent from the west same route up and down. There is a path beside the wall all the way to the summit.AGWilliamson12/07/2016

From Barth Bridge up minor road then track before cutting corner off by following wall up to ridge. Along far side of wall on ridge to summit.clivevilla10/03/2016
From car park above Garsdale up ridge following wall. Soft snow along flatter bit made for slow going up but a fast descent. Very wet underfoot lower down. Excellent views from summit.SS06/03/2016
From Helmside (parking at SD 68474 89009) in Dent Dale then along the ridge to the east end.Alan Moore18/02/2016
From Dent. A traverse of the hill and the Dales Way in the valley gave a satisfying walk of great beauty and interest. Fine, though quite hazy views. You need a 1/25K map to get through Keld (Dentdale), the way off the hill to the Dales Way W of Dent. In all,13 miles. Staying at Dent enhanced the enjoyment of walking in the area. It's got the balance between a vibrant community and catering for visitors just right. And 2 good pubs!pwheeler09/09/2015
