Parked at Fell Foot, plenty of space in the lay-bys. Walked up Parlick first, then on to trig point and back. Great spot to grab some lunch in the shelter by the trig. Nice walk with well worn paths.Hippy7727/05/2019

Started out with theDev from Fell Foot parking area. Opted for diagonal zig-zag approach rather than the steep direct ascent. Cloudy with light breeze, dry underfoot. Route took in Parlick with Hen Harrier hunting. Continued along ridge west of boundary wall for excellent views to Irish Sea over the Fylde. Ascent to Fair Snape (West cairn) easy followed by pleasant walk across plateau to eastern cairn. Peat hags bone dry this summer, even after a day of heavy rain in Lancashire yesterday.Ideal for light-footed bog-trotting. Returned to Fell Foot via east side of boundary wall overlooking the picturesque Greenlough Clough. Traversed the slopes of Parlick before the steep descent to the car.thedobber17/07/2018

From parking area to S. Pleasant walk over frozen peat hags. Top is a mess, couple of potential HPs walked over. Somewhere around the cairn with wooden post embedded is the most likely.jonglew11/12/2017
