Parked near the Yorkshire inn and walked to the Dam. Across the dam and up the Parkin Clough. Very steep and a bit slippy but it eventually opens up to open hilltop. The summit is 2 tops one with a trig point. Fab fastic all round views. Down the same way as we were hubgryChinnockC15/09/2018

Night assault up Parkin Clough. Lovely steep but well made path; leads straight up to the top. Extensive views to Sheffield (east) and Manchester (west). Grandstand view of lots of firework displays. Sat up there for 20mins or more before the cold drove me back down.jonglew04/11/2017

Half-day walk along Great Ridge with Dave. Sunny with intermittent cloud. Left one car at Hope then drove in other car to Mam Tor NT carpark. Walked Rushup Edge to Lord's Seat and back. Up Mam Tor and on to Barker Bank and along the ridge to Lose Hill. Parking on the verge immediately east Of Yorkshire Bridge or in the field entrance to the north (plenty of room so shouldn't affect access). Very stiff climb so anyone with dodgy knees should avoid this route at all costs.moorsman18/02/2015
