Parked in the layby at 78122 18627, up the road a short way to row, up that and skirted military area to Bull Hill. Down the far side, across a boggy area on the paved path then bee line across fairly wet but not too difficult heathery moor to Scholes Height. | clivevilla | 12/09/2023 |
Parked by the cattle grid at the road end near Crowthorne: space for a car by the rocks. Bull Hill (trig, summit and alternative county top) and Scholes Height. Felt a bit daft walking in wellies over the flagstones to Bull Hill, but very smug on the crossing to Scholes Height as the ground is very wet. | PGCE | 30/08/2023 |
Walking West Pennine Way, no flags so straight over the top. | burwellian | 28/05/2023 |
From layby on B6214. Walked up via Rossendale Way then over summit on paths shown on explorer map to Pilgrim's Cross at Buckden Wood. Back down through Buckden Wood. This made a good walk with good distant views today, and gave time to include another Hump (Great Hameldon) in the day. With Pete. | pwheeler | 19/03/2023 |

Ample parking beyond the cattle grid at the end of the lane east from Crowthorn Village (alt 1164ft).
