Day Seven walk from SD 6442 4007, parking for 3 cars then down road to footpath beside wall. Boring route with limited views for first 1/3rd of walk. 40 minute walk of 3.66 km instead of nearer 5 km walk in 60 minutes from Jeffrey Hill. Then drove to Jeffrey Hill car park to turn round.Signs here now preventing parking. So no more walks for the moment. A crisp morning helped minimise the mud - gently getting back in to walking after 6 weeks in a sling following dislocating shoulderNeilb04/02/2018
Parked outside Weedacre Barn SD65722 41778. Muddy, boggy, brambly fp opposite, following in places course of stream. Brambles could be real problem in summer with no guarantee other 3 will be OK. Gained ridge to east of trig and turned west to trig and summit. Descended towards west and followed path back to road and van avoiding boggy etc ascent path.SteveSmith17/01/2018
Good walk up to the trigpoint on Christmas Day. Good views on the way but dark cloud descended on the way back to the car and we got soaked.Delta6825/12/2017

My 12th annual visit to Longridge Fell trig after moving to Grimsargh in October 2006.Dugswell228/11/2017
Planned to do this from SD 6568 3942, but got told off for parking on the private road to dog kennels, but was also informed of a better way up from the forest road, with plenty of parking, 600m E at SD 6624 3960. Good forest road most of the way, then a grotty mud track to finish off up to the trig and hill summit.jonglew05/11/2017
