I parked at the end of the private track south of Coire Choille Farm at 10am. I followed the track to the small Bothy then turned west up the valley lost the path before climbing the head wall to the col. up steep scree to Stob Ban. Then up and over Stob Choire Claurigh, the intervening tops which were still snow covered in places to Stob Coire an Laoigh. I thought about taking in Sgurr Mhic Choinnich but decided I was tired enough so followed the ridge down to the dam and the tram line to the car. Time taken 7 hours 40 minutes for 14.66 miles.isabelle01/06/2021

Solo clockwise route covering the three Grey Corries - mix of clag and blue skies during the day, and a recent layer of wet/unstable snow on the ridge - not enough to make B3s and crampons worthwhile but careful footing in places made for a slow pace above 800m. 8h 30m from car back to car.mproudfoot28/11/2020
Solo. Poor visibility, raining. Stob Ban & Grey Corries (Stob Choire Claurigh, Stob Coire an Laoigh, Sgurr Choinnich Mor)Huwel21/10/2020
I had a very long but great day on the Grey Corries circuit, parking at the end of the private track south of Coire Choille Farm at 9am, then following the walkhighlands route up the horibly boggy slope to the 1st Munro Top of Stob Coire na Gaibhre (958m). I detoured off the route (spending an hour) to bag the 2nd Munro Top of Stob Coire na Ceannain (1123m). Then back to the main ridge and up the 1st Munro of Stob Choire Claurigh (1177m). Further along i crossed over the 3rd, 4th & 5th Munro Tops of Stob a' Choire Leith (1105m), Stob Coire Cath na Sine (1079m) & Caisteal (1106m). The ridge then leading to the 2nd Munro of Stob Coire an Laoigh (1117m), followed by the 6th Munro Top of Stob Coire Easain (1080m). From here madness took over and i continued over to the oulying 3rd Munro of Sgurr Choinnich Mor (1094m). From where I had to reascend the 6th Munro Top (reaching the summit again at 18:00), to reach the 7th Munro Top of Beinn na Socaich (1005m). From here ive never descendechillyman823/09/2020

Arrived from Stob Ban up snow field making the climb easy and swift. Arriving on the ridge was a delight and we broke out the ice axes as a precautionary gesture to traverse ridge beyond experiencing spectacular sun drenched views of the Aonach nor and Ben Nevis in the distance.. There were cornices both sides and a sharp ridge of snow along the top.david.walker4009/05/2015

Cloud and rain at the top. Still plenty of snow around. Good views of Loch Laggan on the descent.darradog25/05/2014
From Coirechoille, drove first mile to track jct. My 3rd visit to the top, this time via the bothy,N bank of gorge, NE then NW and over Stob Coire na Ceannan- a long, satisfying route that took ages as the impressive but easy ridge to the Marilyn top was snowed up, covering a little path that has been worn. Continued along wonderful switchback ridges to Stob Coire Easain for a descent of its easy N ridge (useful with the snow). Messy finish by dam and over old tramway bed- forest roads would surely have been better. Other visits from Stob Ban with my brother, his first Munros after a very nasty head injury (cycling) and a big step in his recovery; another on a wet day- very slippery rock, very slow going on the quartzite.pwheeler24/05/2014

30/5/08.Finally get on to the Grey Corries!! Straight up the north ridge of SCC via the N Top of Stob Coire Gaibhre, out to Nan Ceannain and back. West of SCC I meet Tom HAYLE, man in late 70's from the WIRRAL, learn he's done two Munro rounds+ one completion of tops but a non declarer to SMC. He completed with a woman friend from Devon, also non declarer. Right along ridge west to Sgurr Coineach Beag and then all way back and after back at Caisteal again, head off eastern slopes contouring down n round to get up on to Stob Ban. After steeply off in the deepening GLOOM, call in at bothy in VALLEY. Its FULL, jolly & kind resident gives me hot cuppa and biscuit before I hoof my way back north 6-7km back. I'd brought my car up the track util I'd found a locked gate. About half past midnight with still much residual light on this glorious day. Munro nos. 245,246,247,248.vegibagger30/05/2008

Two us included Sgurr Chòinnich Beag to arrive at the car park at the top of Glen Nevis. Rain, mist and high wind made it very trying on the approach to Stob Coire Claurigh. Thereafter there was a gradual improvement. It was clear from Stob Coire an Laoigh. The waterfalls in Glen Nevis were superb.pwbellarby26/09/1981
