As others, parked near the top of Ridgebourne Road to the E and followed Offa's Dyke up the hill. Detoured to the trig and hp. Cold wind but very pleasant until the sun dropped below the horizon at dusk. Herd of wild horses on the top. With Gillian.richard6906/11/2023

Lovely warm sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky. Walked up from the road above Hergest Croft. We walked up the wide grassy path to the Monkey Puzzles where we had lunch. Then on to Trig point and the summit. Went down and up to Hanter Hill. Visited cairn and the other high points believe the rock outcrop at the edge of gorse to be the top. Back to Monkey Puzzles and the car. Great views to Pen y Fan, Clee Hills, Malverns, Clent Hills Long Mynd etc. Saw Yellowhammers, Stonechats, Skylarks, Crows, Buzzards, Red Kites and a glimpse of a Cuckoo. Time taken 5.14 miles for 2 hours 40 minutes including lunch. Plenty of tadpoles in the pond on the top.isabelle13/06/2021
