From Dalrigh, over Beinn Chuirn and down pleasant ridge to South top. Down east spur to top of Eas Anie. Probably a better way up the Corbett via this top. Saw a mountain hare and a fox, not together. | Flatfield | 14/06/2023 |
Parked at NN 2461 2876 (car park 1km SW now charge £3.50). Paddled across river, then crossed railway and climbed to Beinn Dubh before visiting the various summit options. Descended via Garbh Choirean to get out of the wind. | PGCE | 27/04/2023 |
Cycled from Dalrigh past Cononish to second gate, then up and along SE ridge. | NormanW | 20/07/2022 |
From Tyndrum Lower station, zizag up lead mines path to Sron nan Colan, Drochaid an Droma, Meall Odhar, down through trees and across rickety deer fence to bealach, NW up broad gully then E to ridge and S to Beinn Chuirn. Descended ESE to track keeping S of Eas Anie and the crags, past the gold mine and back to the station. | TRG318 | 27/04/2022 |
Had 2 cars. Dropped 1 at houses few hundred metres west of Arrivain. Then Climbed this hill and the Corbett from Dalrigh and Cononish. Dropped back to the col between the hills, where we spotted a new track through the felled trees. steep descent but nothing difficult. The felling makes it easy to see the bridge carrying the railway over the river, we crossed both here without difficulty, and there was the car, handy. wonderful view of Lui from here. | hils | 19/03/2022 |
From Tyndrum Lower, taking the initially faint path right after the second gate on the track beyond Cononish. This follows the SE ridge, generally a hundred yards or so from the edge (the map on the mine entrance gate at Cononish shows the route of the path). From the summit, a fence line leads to the South Top and the broad East ridge leads back to the path, completing an enjoyable circuit. | Nick Down1 | 18/09/2021 |
Started from Dalrigh | justin999 | 11/09/2021 |
Attempts from the north should avoid the foot bridges marked on the map which are heavily sealed off and structurally very weak.

If water levels aren’t particularly high, there is a route from the car park at NN239279 where a path leads to submerged rocks across the River Lochy at NN2387227616. You then “limbo” under the rail bridge “at own risk”! A path follows the east bank of the Eas Daimh to the edge of the forest at NN2575127804. One can climb up to the col half way along the summit ridge and then on to the summit. | BaggerGutt | 22/08/2021 |
