From Elleric after Ben Sgulaird. This top is a big hill and would be a fell in its own right if it was in the Lake District.cumbria mammoth27/10/2023
Parking near Druimavuic - Druim a' Vuic (should probably be spelt Bhuic) - Beinn Sgulaird S Top - Meall Garbh - Beinn Sgulaird - Beinn Sgulaird N Top - Beinn Sgulaird - traversed round SE sides of Meall Garbh and S Top - dropped down from 450m col to track by Allt Buidhe: 9.5 miles, 1250m ascent, 6h 15m. When ascending this one from the W there is a point at about 740m, I think, where a small cairn indicates where you should keep climbing up the ridge. What looks like the main path at that point starts to pull rightwards, as if traversing to the S of the summit, before disappearing at about 780m, SW of the summit, from where I had to climb steeply up.Mark Jackson24/07/2023

Spent the weekend at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage in Crianlarich. Saturday 28/08/21, I headed round to Loch Creran to bag the Munro of Beinn Sgulaird (937m). There was thick mist at sea level, but I was above this at around 200m. The mist lifted a bit during the day, but it still blocked any views of the sea, with Ben More on Mull, sticking above the mist. 06:50hrs all in.chillyman828/08/2021

On descent of Beinn Sgulaird.quadbarrel31/05/2021
From Druimavuic, past rhododendrons blooming in the gardens bordering the track, turning onto the S ridge of Beinn Sgulaird at the cairn, detouring from the path to Druim a'Vuic, over BS South Top, Meall Garbh , BS and BS North Top. Superb views over lochs Creran and Etive and into the Central Highlands from the North Top. On return, I cut down after Meall Garbh to pick up the start of the track leading to Druimavuic. This took a fair amount of weaving around to avoid crags and steep grass, so keeping to the path on the return is probably preferable.Nick Down115/05/2021

Solo fr Druimavuic; ran up most of track then contoured to ridge, back over all 3 tops. Lovely calm mild day w tops clear but high white cloud rendering lighting a bit flat, still got distant clear views. Delightful day. (Drive home a 13h-nightmare though!)NorfolkPT2118/08/2015

second ascent of beinn sgulaird, with a first ascent of the 2 south tops, 2 in party, clear for most of the day, then a prolonged snow shower as we start our descent, climbed from druimavuic, pt 488 and up the ridge to pt 863, cut steps in the descent, pt 848, again cut steps down from this top and the final summit ridge in crampons, only taking them off after descending a few hundred metres from the summit.rum doodle 07/02/2013
Climbed this on a thoroughly miserable day, cloud from ground level to the tops. I'm sure it's lovely, but in that weather it was just grim :-)Cap_Thunderbolt08/09/2012

Cairngorm Club meet. Alone. From near Druimavuic. Up the track through the forest and then up glen of Allt Buidhe on a rough path to the north of the burn. When well up the glen I went diagonally up the slope to point 856m and then along the ridge to Beinn Sgulaird. Back same way but keeping more to the ridge than on the ascent. Mist on and off all day. Thunder, falling snow and windy on the summit.pwbellarby15/10/1983
