Solo from car park at the end of Glen Etive. Up forest edge on boggy path with deep vegetation (1.5m high bracken!) Steeply up Meal nan Gobhar then more reasonably onto top of Trilleachan Slabs. Really enjoyable traverse across to Beinn Trilleachan summit with great views to Starav and the Glencoe hills. Return same way. | John Lee | 18/07/2023 |

Up the forest edge then aimed for the top. Some issues with outcrops on way up to Trilleachan Slabs but I found a much better line down. Then on to main top for a long leisurely lunch in the sun - a change from miost recent days. | dickscroop | 06/06/2022 |

I parked near the road end in Glen Etive. Shortly after I arrived somebody else arrived. He asked if he could go up Beinn Trillachan with me, and I agreed. We walked up a rough path slightly west of the boundary of Glenetive Forest until the broad NE ridge of Meall nan Gobhar. We followed that ridge to reach the summit of point 767m, above the Trilleachan Slabs. We descended (slabs and grass in between) and then over a minor top to reach the summit of Beinn Trilleachan. We retraced out steps until at the col before the minor top; we went down the long gully away SE. The gully was mostly rocky boulders, with a few minor steps. We joined a new forest track, and then the original path to reach the cars. There had been some rain, and it was misty on top, so there were no views. | pwbellarby | 05/07/1998 |

Solo, with hire car I guess. Left car at 7.15am, presumably after driving up overnight, and was back at car at 11.15am. Hot and heathery climb! | NorfolkPT21 | 09/07/1997 |

On Loch Creran- Druim a'Vuic- Meall Garbh- Beinn Sgulaird- Stob Gaibhre- Beinn Trilleachan- Trilleachan Slabs- Gen Ure- Loch Creran walk. Well worth the extra 240ft of ascent even though it made this a 5200 ft ascent day. The views of the slabs got better with the walk from Beinn Trilleachan, the exposure increased with views up and down Glen Etive; a Golden Eagle flew off quite close to me on this ridge to complete the dramatic situation. Down over Meall nan Gobhar and Airigh nan Lochan; it started to rain as I walked down the old path in Glen Ure. This quite complex 16 mile walk took me 10 h with plenty of stops. | pwheeler | 26/05/1995 |
From end of road in Glen Etive. Very wet trudge by forest fence to a col at 700'. Steep climb through treacherous granite slabs, with crevasses, tall grass and slippery moss. Past many visible horizons into mist and after 2 hours to top. 12.35. to Trilleachan. | arranc | 28/07/1994 |
