Parked in free car park opposite Clova Hotel for a circuit of 6 summits, Craigs of Loch Wharral to Cathelle Houses. 5/6. Visited summit and cairn.PGCE22/02/2024
Up the track to the immediate west of the major stream that runs behind the Gken Clova Hotel, starting too late really after messing around unnecessarily for two & a half hours. So had to cut short my planned objectives & still ended up coming down the track for hour & hslf by moonlight. Very frustrated that I just missed trying to blag a lift in the back of a small quad bike truck, with two guys in it that went all the way high up into the corrie... Could've saved me hour and a quarter of slow plod. This was my second peak getting close to sunset.vegibagger18/02/2024

Cairngorm Club Bus meet. With a fellow member. From the car park at the end of the Glen Esk road. We walked along the track on the north side of Loch Lee and up the glen past Falls of Unich and Falls of Damff to a ruined building where the path ends. We followed a burn to the summit of Muckle Cairn before joining another path. We left it to go over White Hill (855m) to reach the summit of Ben Tirran (The Goet). We then headed for Green Hill where we met some other club members. We walked together round the rim above Loch Brandy to the Snub. We had time in hand so we decided on an extension to Boustie Ley, descending via Ben Reid. Weather was excellent.pwbellarby06/10/2002
